Select projects to include in the R&D credit calculation.
Note: Selecting projects for documentation is only required if you have chosen not to skip project tabulation in the Study Settings.
Once you have completed entering projects and have finished their eligibility tests:
- Go to the Eligible tab.
- Select which eligible projects to include in the study.
- Click the Continue button when you have finished making your selection.
The Sample Selection
The goal is to save time by selecting a representative sample of projects. Projects with the highest spend can be considered to obtain a greater coverage of the total R&D spend for the year or groups of projects involving similar development work can be selected. Interviews will be performed only on these projects or project groupings. Expenses will be allocated to the projects you select for the sample as well as to the group of Un-selected eligible projects as a whole in later sections.
