New features, updates, and fixes released on Wednesday, August 3, 2022

New Features

  • Now able to add payroll by uploading W-2 PDF files.  The files are scanned and Employees are added with name, wage amount, and State allocation set.
  • Added the ability to calculate Un-selected Eligible Project QREs, to be used if using a sampling or project subset to calculate the credit.
  • Added comment threads to tasks.  Now you can ask a question or add a comment to a task.

Existing Feature Updates

  • Updated the Edit Study feature (from admin) to include the ability to edit the fiscal dates.
  • Changed the Controlled Group questions to lower the check to 50% (from 80%). 
  • Improved the task linking feature to enable linking to all app pages.
  • Expense allocations can now be removed from the expenses section on the the Project page.
  • Tasks can now be marked as incomplete from the workflow page.  Clicking the green checkmark will mark the task back to 'Pending' status.
  • We've added a menu option to the My Tasks slide-in so you can mark tasks as complete from here.

Fixes

  • Added error messaging if a duplicate Service Provider name is entered when trying to update (admin settings).
  • Fixed two issues with the Excel import:
    • Entering 0% for an allocation would add an allocation being added set at 0%.  This will now be treated the same as empty cells, not adding a 0% allocation.
    • Wage amounts would not be imported correctly if they were a large value ending in all zeros.
