Adding Supply Expenses

Add single supply expenses using the Add Supplies button on the supplies page.

  1. On the Supplies tab, click the Add Supplies button to add supplies.
  2. Enter Supply Name, Category/Group, and Amount.
  3. In Description, add a short description of supplies used in the development of innovation.
  4. In R&D Allocation for Year, estimate a percentage of the supply used on eligible R&D projects.
  5. In Project Allocations, select the projects the supplies were used on and enter the percentage of the supply on each project.
    1. To allocate the supply to an additional project, click Add Additional Project to add another project field. Alternatively, you can check Allocate Globally to evenly distribute the expense across all projects in the study.  
    2. Note: The Allocation % field must total 100%. 
  6. Select the State the expense was used and allocate the percentage of the expense used in each state.
    1. If the expense was distributed across multiple states, click Add Additional State to add another state field.
    2. Note: The allocation across all states must equal 100%
  7. Click Save.
