If using a project sampling methodology for your R&D Study, you can choose to calculate the QREs for the eligible projects that were not selected as part of the sample.
If you have selected a sub-set of eligible projects to perform qualification on, you can choose to calculate the QREs for the group of unselected eligible projects.
Note: Only unlimited access team members and coordinators can access this function.
Perform these steps to calculate the QREs:
- Go to the Unselected Eligible Project QREs section on the Calculation page.
- Select Calculate if you want to calculate the QREs for the group of un-selected eligible projects. Allocate Directly is the default.
- If Calculate is selected, you can then choose to switch on/off to Apply Sample Qualifying Percentage (default) or not apply:
- Applying the sample qualifying percentage will apply the ratio of Estimated QREs to Actual QREs for the Sample to the Estimated QREs for the Unselected Eligible Projects, calculating the QRE amount for this group.
- Turning this switch off, and not applying the sample qualifying percentage, will not apply the ratio and bring in all of the Estimated QREs for the group of Unselected Eligible Projects to calculate the QRE amount for this group.
Note: Estimated costs used for this calculation are entered during project tabulation when adding projects and performing eligibility tests.
